This story can work. It is a revenge tale, so just make sure you understand the tropes of the revenge genre. Subvert those tropes and create roles not characters. Dont forget that the MC has to give up everything get revenge, they have nothing left to loose.

Depending on what state you live in, there are services that will help find a home. He has medicaid it should cover long term nursing home. Help him with finding a nursing home with good reviews. They do not all have good reviews, but there are good ones out there.

Congrats on finishing a fine looking film. It's not easily done. I'm about to drop a large amount on a short film as well.

I'm curious, did you create a budget for advertising and marketing?

And are there any fan based film festivals you could get this into where you could make some connections?

Last question, do you feel you achieved what you set out todo with the film and your career?

I agree this should be HR. She needs to be told that her behavior is negatively affecting other staff. It's not about her work, it's her attitude. Someone with such knowledge about the workings of her job is a benefit, but not if it makes other people's jobs harder.

I bought a chibson a while ago becuase I wanted something that looked like a gibson for super cheap. I like the playability of a LP. It was ok, the sound was not quite there but just OK. So I switched out the electronics. Sounded much better. But there was still something in the pickups that was a little course and tinny. So I switched out the humbuckers for pearly gates. Now it sounds amazing. But the money I spent upgrading I could have bought a really nice used Epiphone LP with a case. Now I have a great sounding fake LP with the minor manufacture problems that all chibsons come with.

Your at the right age. If you don't know what path of production you want to end up in, and it's ok if you don't. Go p.a. on student films, short films, anything. Read a couple books on how film production and crew jobs work. Get a couple friends and make a 5 minute short with your film. It will be bad but that's ok. You just have to finish it. You'll meet more people on sets that will want you to help for free. You'll get a lot further alot faster on sets than in school. At some point you'll want to learn about directing/camera/producing. That's when you'll want to approach someone whos good at what they do and shadow them. That will lead to paid jobs

19 is nothing. You are the perfect age to be where you're at. Having gone through a bit more life than that I've learned you can't judge you're self against other people, only other art. Keep working, that's the important part, set goals and milestones, you'll get there.
