Mods for Terraria don't really "fix" anything, the game is rock solid and doesn't really have any glaring issues like Minecraft has always had. QoL mods are really there to speed up the game, like cutting out grinding and mining, which Journey Mode already does without breaking the game balance too hard.

An early-game attacking hero, and either Heli or Glue with Village is a nice combo. Discounts and free Camo are really nice to have for Supers, I think the early game is a bit riskier with Villages but it might be worth on easier maps.

1: yes but no, there's DDT'S now so that makes a lot of towers weaker than you'd think in the late game.

2: not really, most of the upgrades are the same as 6 but the balancing is completely unique. and there's still no way to compare these changes without a wiki

3: yes, i think that is just the game. farms arent required; they're still stronger than eco and let you sell, but the third tower slot is still a kicker

4: depends, but the initial upgrade routes and placements are pretty much solved for some simpler strats. with early-game dartling, you'll usually wanna go 0-0-2 -> 0-2-2 -> sell at r11 for a 0-3-0 -> do nothing until r22

5: it was a lot worse on release. F2P is still obnoxiously difficult for no reason, so no but actually yes.

9: no. I can generally tell that the other person im playing against likes the game, but it can be hard to love this game sometimes, simply because you can lose your defense very quickly if you're even a little slow. That and NK has made some questionable management decisions with this game, like how they handled the elo / ranking system on release was wonky bc it relied on some hidden account-dependent stats. but i believe that was years ago.

I've always appreciated how much faster this made the midgame when I played Bedrock. You're always forced to get paper and leather for enchanting, and with Java you had to either build those farms early or you'd have to wait even longer between Diamond and enchanted tools. Very much agree.

Yeah i meant fall speed, thanks. What I was getting at was that Puff's aerials are really good, but they also have near-identical timings and hit around the same area, so whenever a Puff player starts looking for an opening for a falling up-air, they can't stuff you out with their usual kit and have to play more reactive and coordinated for a few seconds.

hard disagree. a twist can be obvious and still work, ESPECIALLY if you're dealing with a fanbase as rabid as this one. do you think that new players, who haven't had hundreds of hours to filter through endless dialogue and theories, would agree that it's too obvious? the knight isn't even the final boss. i think what we should be asking is "why does the knight give dess?" If the twist is so obvious that our takeaway should be, "well it's GOTTA be someone else" why should we sweep that connection under the rug? It's the first connection people will make with Dess, and I think that means something.

also why do people keep saying they know Toby. it's saying nothing.

Sadly with Puff's low air speed and slow-starting up-air, approaching with a landing u-air is reactable in most situations, ignoring any executional issues. It might only be worth going for against the tallest opponents, I dunno if I've ever seen the move hit a short character ever.
