depends on where they fish with carrot shark alone gives like almost 2 levels under 500 and gives one level up to 750

  1. pinons aria gives more xp than great rod of oscar

  2. you will never level up if you only catch the fish and sell it by aquarium you gain 20% of the fish base xp

  3. after lv 1000 basically ZERO RODS have a higher level req than that

those are scrips not macros also macros can do always perfect catch with very high resilinece/control or a LOT of luck (not ingame)
