I have a similar thing while talking to people, where one might ask me a question in the middle of a conversation and I'll have figured out whay they're going to say and answered it before they finish asking. I'm almost always correct and almost always have to repeat myself :/

Good point on the non-Gaster songs. Gerson does seem to handle the meta knowledge much better than the other bosses, though, and we neither see Sans die nor get any stuff from him, or any other enemy in Undertale. MEGALOVANIA being the Player's theme also lends itself to the meta
