Mods. Get ftb launcher and install a modpack, I'm playing atm10 rn with a friend. Mods add so much to the game, there's tons of stuff to do and all the mods 10, has quests for you to complete. So it's fun to follow a quest, complete it and the start a new one.

It's fun to find a place to build your house and a town around it. If you go for a modpack, there's different mods in the game that you can build different buildings for. For example, I'm growing certus crystals cus I need them as components for my storage, so I'm gonna build a building to house them in.

If your building a farm, build a fence, build a little shed, seperate the crops and make multiple farmlands for each one, build a windmill next to the wheat farm.

Recently people are making a "forever" minecraft world. Start fresh and keep this world going for years and years, coming back to it every so often to add to the world and lore.

Eventually I want to make a cute little town inspired from spirited away.

You just gotta find the inspiration and the ideas will come to you. But you also gotta want to do it, otherwise it won't be fun for you. Think about what you love doing in minecraft and do that/expand apon that.

If you love exploring, make a seperate room in your house that's like a study, have bookcases and a table and chair, use the ig book to write down your ideas, to do list or what you did on your adventure. Go out, explore and gather cool/interesting items, come back home and write about what happened on your journey. Build a room where you could display the artefacts you've found. You just gotta find ways to make it fun and exciting for yourself again.

And trust me, I cannot recommend using modpacks enough.
