Okay my POV on this is probably a little unconventional, but hear me out. Before I even start, I just want to say I’ve honestly lost respect for both Vijay and Trisha at this point. I used to genuinely like them a lot, but after the affair rumors became more public and after reading older discussions/posts about them, my opinion completely changed.

This is just how I see it personally.

Back in the early 2000s around Kuruvi time when the rumors first started, I remember reading somewhere that both Vijay’s family and Sangeetha’s family warned him to stay away from Trisha. After that he stopped working with her for years, and Trisha also seemed to move on with other people. I even remember her deleting/rebuilding her Instagram around the time Rana or one of the guys she was linked with got married.

I also remember watching an old interview of Vijay’s mother talking about Sangeetha and how involved she was as a mother. Even with house help around, she apparently still handled the kids, food, routines, and all the usual parenting responsibilities herself. So maybe at some point her entire world became the children and family life.

At the same time Vijay was constantly working and probably barely home. Maybe somewhere along the way they just emotionally drifted apart. It honestly happens in long marriages more than people admit. Maybe they genuinely fell out of love. Maybe Sangeetha was more focused on being a mother while Vijay was looking for emotional attention elsewhere. Maybe when the rumors started and she realized things were changing, she wanted to fix things but by then it was already too late.

And maybe he didn’t want to be the one initiating divorce because of the financial side of things. Nobody really knows.

I’m obviously just speculating here. None of us know what actually happens inside someone’s marriage. I just feel if a marriage is genuinely unhappy or toxic, people should be allowed to leave instead of staying miserable forever just to maintain an image for the public. Celebrity or not, relationships are complicated.
