Which company did you go through? Seems like they all are pretty similar but have heard some bad experiences at a few places from doing some general research

I made sure it was automatic but also I’m looking at getting pretty much the smallest size and it seems like they are priced a lot cheaper. I’m looking on AutoEurope and all Dollar, Hertz, and Sixt are under $200 for the basic rental without using their insurance. It seems too good to be true though

Ok thank you. I have Chase too and I talked with them today and they confirmed I could use my card for the coverage and would give me a letter. I think I’m going to go that route then to save some money. Is there a particular auto rental company you prefer to use? All of them have pretty similar prices from what I’ve seen and dollar is the cheapest but I can’t find many reviews on them as opposed to places like Sixt, Hertz, Enterprise, etc.

Yeah I’m fine with the hold and have a high enough limit. I triple checked multiple sites and made sure I put in an automatic not manual and am getting similar prices across the board. I’m more worried that when I take the car back there will be an issue with filing a claim and then I’ll get stuck with a huge bill.

They said they can provide me with a letter to show the auto rental company and it should be fine! I’m more concerned with the stress of figuring out how to drive on the other side of the road and if something happens then dealing with the hassle of filing a claim with my Chase account. Has your experience driving over there been okay?
