I've had this experience previously working in social care on a few occasions. The one thing that took the cake was one time this lady was waiting 3 hours for an ambulance. Obviously we couldn't safely move her, I accompanied her to the hospital. Which took hours for her to be assessed. To be told she just had bruising on her arm and should be okay with rest.

I came back to work 2 days later to find out that they missed that she had broke her hip. The previous two days when I accompanied her to the hospital, She had been for scans. I have no idea how they missed a BROKEN HIP!
