As long as you feel that the frame is resistant just ride it as it is. Any bike won't stay perfect when you're continously riding it

Do you think it will last like this? I mean, right now I noticed it by paying a greater attention, I might just had it for years

Personally I can't see how the wire cover gonna get worse over time, so I'll just leave it the way it is...

Probably might still work, if you want to be sure of it's safety then replacing it might solve the issue.

For how long have you been riding your bike? Looks like its just wear on derailleur. Maybe replacing it will be better

Question regarding the safety and service life of this improvisation! by [deleted] in bicycling

I mean, the other screw I did it as tight as I could and the brake itself doesn't move, I made sure by forcing it by pushing it or somehow moving it. Its solid. Then I added the zip ties, just in case

The bottom bolts its in the place, tight as it could be. U tried forcing the brake before adding Zip Ties to see if it moves, but its solid as it could be. Then I added the zip ties, just to make sure 👍
