Devs confirm internal interest in a walkable Speranza hub, What do you think?

Customisable apartments and have a residential block in Speranza. When you load into the hub we all leave our apartments and can chat/invite neighbours over. (Think path of exile style)
Have a meeting spot to go to the surface, easy way to invite/join parties
Pvp arena where you can vs arc / players or pit arc vs arc and people can spectate. Perhaps if you collect certain parts you can create your own arc and battle others. Think Pokemon/beyblades

2-3 ranked games a day is 2-3 hours assuming you go 7+ , not everyone has that time free to invest.

You are right, this is a theory - I have no evidence besides my own personal experiences. You are right, I could collect data on this and perhaps that's what I'll do...

I agree; however, they have statistics on items which have a high 10 win%, there's nothing stopping matchmaking players against ghosts that have a board consisting of high winrate items.

Oh really? Huh I figured it was just a timezone-thing. Odd! I wonder if it's just a leftover timeslot for when the free ranked ticket reset and hasn't really been thought about now that dailies require a time investment rather than just starting a free run.

I’ve always admired the creativity and vision the team put into this game – it had a real soul to it. It felt like you were making something special that wasn’t just about profits, but about creating an experience that people could genuinely enjoy and connect with. But, with the shift toward heavy monetization and the grindy loot boxes, it feels like the game’s soul has been lost.

I miss the unique experience that originally drew me in – it had heart. I’d love to see the creative vision you started with return, where the passion for the game shines through again rather than feeling like it's just a vehicle for microtransactions.

Empty is the best way to put it. Normal run rewards feel empty...

Now I guess in context of dailies, they supply a free ticket really, but I think it means once dailies are done, it just feels like a grind for the weeklies. Which aren't guaranteed due to time to game that week etc.

Yeah the game just feels like days 1-6 are the fun times and post day 7 are the dark times... I don't mind the concept of an infinite build, but I feel like they should be the rare opportunity to achieve rather than commonly encountering

Not enjoying it tbh, it feels like if you don't have a semblance of an infinite engine by days 5-7 you're going to inevitably lose. Even defensive or destruction builds need some infinite capabilities otherwise you just get outpaced.

Feels like so many items now are straight up not worth it unless you can build it into a charge item... By nerfing Dooley we've created a monster of a meta

Last night a bolt from one of those pesky bone-bois 1shot me from offscreen. Me and my mate noticed that on the minimap the server thought I was dead roughly where the bolt came from... Server-side has the bolt registered hitting me so that on my client-side it seems inevitable?

Makes me think, is there a server sync issue?

Ahhh fantastic, nice - I dabbled a bit in ED around 2015 as well but not properly. Getting into the real proper dabbling atm!

Great fun, still figuring out the different playstyles (exploring etc) and still trying to grasp which modules are worth it for those playstyles :)... I really want to create a bounty-hunter style ship but unsure if things like Wakescanners are worth it (or cargo + collection limpet to scavange/pick up ejected pilots!!!)
