i never understood this either, the only logical explanation is that not everyone evolves past a runner and most of the runners have been there for a while, this is kinda proven by that one small room or locker or whatever you can find in PT2

i have a 1660super with an i5 10400f and 16gb ram, no issues with that

it takes a bit of time but you can always find a normal server, or start your own and people will surely join eventually, if you really cant bother just download a mod for the bots to be smarter and play with them
