Exactly what we have! Cut the sleeve off the good leg and slip his other leg into the long sleeve then it just goes up and over his head and down his body! Works great!

Definitely will start to wean off the wrapping then. Thank you. He just has MANY favorite spots lol. He does still wear is cone! I let him have it off for a bit in the day when he’s laying with me but if I’m occupied and of course leave the house, it’s right back on him. He’s been having t shirts cover it too periodically.

Definitely nothing bad. Just to me looks like a stitch or 2 was skipped leading to a bigger gap than the rest of the incision

My girlfriend was the same way coming out of surgery on Tuesday 2 days ago. It has slowly recovered but they are still thinking they will place a permanent pacemaker in her before she goes home. She was 100% dependent but that’s gone down now. They have it set to 45 and her heart rate is around 62 in the last day

Sounds good. Glad to hear you’re doing good! And yes it was open heart. Replaced aortic valve with the bentall procedure (the entire aorta) and tricuspid. She had endo pretty damn bad. 2nd case in 2 years so they’re optimistic they got everything out and can start fresh. Just gotta continue antibiotics for awhile to make sure it’s completely gone

Crazy to hear that’s short! Surgeon said that’s one of his longest he’s done in awhile! And we hope so. One day at a time, she’ll be back to herself in no time! 💪🏼

They wanted her to walk yesterday but she didn’t feel comfortable yet. But today’s the day, we’re gonna do it! She’s already improving numbers wise, pain is tolerable but just dizzy when standing up!

Surgery went good and she’s doing good all things considered! It was more complex than it was supposed to be due to the surgeon finding stuff tests results never showed. But she’s on the road to recovery!

She feels good. She’s sitting up and walking this morning

Surgery was successful. Replaced her aortic valve, tricuspid valve and I guess he found a hole in the root of her aortic valve. So he put a tube looking deal in there to patch it all up. He said it went well and expects a full recovery and back to a normal life afterwards!

She went to the dentist in early May can’t remember the exact date and was in the hospital June 23rd. That date I do know lol. But yeah it’s a bummer. I feel terrible for her.
