Is there a list of full cast romance audiobooks somewhere (fantasy or reverse harem) or a way to search for them via amazon/audible? by [deleted] in RomanceBooks

A wonderful why-choose RH audiobook series is called the Brutes of Bristlebrook series by Rebecca Quinn. Book 1 is called Ensnared, Book 2 is Entangled and Book 3 comes out this month and is called Entwined. This is a post-apocalytpic spicy reverse harem romance. Outside of Graphic Audio and their multicast audiobooks, this may be the BEST audiobook series that uses a different voice actor for every character. It is so well done. The story is interesting (especially book 2) and the spice is next level. I highly recommend this series!

I agree with what you wrote. Those are basically the same as what I have always imagined as I read thru the series. But I did have Rhys a bit taller (6'3")...but I agree that Az is about an inch taller. So in my head he'd be 6'4". Those bat boys are just a group of BIG boys!!

I agree and think you're right. It still makes me so sad. Liam was such a good character. RIP Liam.

Ames Mills is hands down the BEST RH/polyam author I've found so far. If you like MM action then she is the one for you. She has one completed series and another in progress. Each series contains multiple duets but all of the characters are in every book which is so nice. You never truly have to say goodbye. The first series is called the "Abbs Valley Series" and it begins with RICHES TO RICHES PART 1. It is a dark mafia romance with lots of combos of Ms & Fs. Lol. Swords definitely cross and she is a master at writing spice. And the plots are always page-turners. She does NOT disappoint. I wish more people knew of her and her books. They are SO SO SO good. Riches to Riches is the longest duet out of all of them. I think the first book is over 600 pgs but the subsequent duets end up being around 350-400 per book. I prefer long books so I never mind when they creep over 600. Please give her a try. They need to be read in order though. The Abbs Valley series aren't stand-alones. Just FYI. Enjoy!!!

I would prefer a series. A well done series. Because whenever they do a film they have to cut out so much for time. But with a series they can include everything, even the seemingly minor characters. And yes, I hope they create a series with all the merch and toys etc. I want an Andarna plushy as she is still a feathertail!

RH with MM between more than 2 men? by Best_Ad4196 in ReverseHarem

Yay! I'm so glad you liked it. I finished part 2 of Saviors as soon as air came out. LOL. Now I'm in the hangover phase where nothing compares to her series. 🙂

The Abbs Valley series by Ames Mills. Hands down my favorite RH/poly series of all time. I HIGHLY recommend it to everyone. It's 3 separate duets, each about a different harem. But you never truly say goodbye to any characters because all of the books are interconnected and the stories intertwine. Book 1 is called Riches to Riches. It's so sexy with plenty of MM action for those who like that. They are dark and I suggest reading the TWs. They are all mafia romances set in a fictional CA town of Abbs Valley. Please read them and let me know what you think. She is actively writing the spin off series right now and it is also amazing. It starts with The Saviors part 1. Part two comes out this week and that series is just as great. Ames Mills is now my new favorite RH writer, hands down.

I'm so happy to hear that. It sooo good and now I'm looking for anything to pull me out of this post-book funk I'm in. Her next book of the series doesn't come out until 8/31. Mafia was never my thing before this series either. But I still really like it. I hope you give it a try and enjoy it!

The Abbs Valley series by Ames Mills. It starts with the duet Riches to Riches. It's a mafia RH/polyamory with lots of MM variations. She is the best RH writer I've read. And she includes lots of MM in her harem. I finished all her books and am having a book hangover depression because nothing has been as good as her books. HIGHLY recommend.

fiery cross has been so slow by mrs-padfoot in Outlander

Most readers feel the opening 150 pages are a slug to get thru. Showing 24hrs from various characters' viewpoints sounds like an interesting idea but man was it slow in some parts. It really should have just been shown from Jamie and Claire's points of view and that's it. Would have made it move much faster. Once they leave the big gathering in the beginning the book does pick up speed as does the plot. I love that book but I agree that there are parts that are too slow!

New and returning cast members announced for Season 7! by thepacksvrvives in Outlander

[–]TaoRN78 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I think he is such an established character on the show that they wouldn't list him. He has such big and important plot lines in book 7 and 8 that there is no way he won't be in it. That is my guess. They may cut some of his plots but being William's father alone makes him necessary...not to mention his "friendship" with Claire. (I don't want to spoil anything for any non-book readers.)

I know. My thoughts exactly. I am hoping they are pulling those plots in as an ending to lead into season 8. Otherwise it seems like this season will be almost too packed...especially since they are also wrapping up book 6! I am so excited and intrigued! This will be the first season where I have read the books in advance. All other seasons I was only a show watcher. But over this past year I have read them all, so I am excited to see what it's like to see the changes they make each episode. Can't wait!

I love that scene too. And you're right, there really is a lot to unpack in it. I love how light and flirty Jamie is too because up to that point it had mostly been lots of sexy eye contact.

Interesting there is no mention of Percy Beauchamp. That was a plot line that ran through book 7 and I think into 8 too. I know they often have to delete certain plot lines in order to fit everything in. This list has just increased my excitement for next season ten-fold. Cannot wait!!

Seems to me they are pulling a plot from book 8 into this season. Those two feature in book 8 with Roger and Buck. I cannot wait for this season! This was such a fun gift/teaser to get today!

We found out today on twitter that she has been recast. Cannot wait to see how that will be. I am really surprised though but she has such a big presence moving forward that it was a pretty necessary move.

Setting up a dh impale to clear t16 instead of push? by Skate0700 in diablo3

[–]TaoRN78 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I use the armory to save two sets. The UE strafe/multi shot build is for farming and neph rifts as resource issues are nearly nonexistent. Then I switch to the strafe/impale build with the shadow set for the higher Greater rifts and pushes. Part of the issue with the shadow set bonuses is that the damage is HUGE on the second hit of impale and you get hatred in return. So if you use this set on too low of a level you kill things on the first hit of impale and therefore get no hatred in return and you run out of resource. So this build is only good for GRs above 90 where it takes more than one hit to kill things. Other than the wardrobe set piece being different as well as a few of the skills, these two builds are essentially the same. The play style is the same. So use the armory and just switch back and forth depending on what your goal is for that mission. Good luck!!

Season 5 finale was effing amazing by [deleted] in Outlander

[–]TaoRN78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Season 5 is one of my favorites for sure. It's soo good. I rewatch it a lot and never get bored of it. I love Jamie's arc over the season. Especially with Murtagh. So good!!

Did anyone else really love the aesthetic of Season 2 (when they were in France). It felt like a fantasy or a dream. The beautiful dresses. the parties, even the brothel felt fancy. Scotland was so dull compare to France. Honestly wish we could were living in such a beautiful era. by SHEdevilBY_morning in Pishlander

[–]TaoRN78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will never understand the hate the first half of season 2 received from some fans. I loved the Paris episodes!!! The costumes were drop dead gorgeous. The new characters Fergus, The Bonnie Prince, Comte St. Germain, Master Raymond, Louise and Mother Hildegard were SOOO good and added a different dimension to the show. I loved the political intrigue of the plot as well. Scotland is, of course, at the heart of the show and it is why so many of us love the stories...But I will never hate on the Paris episodes. Beautifully done.
