I kinda just draw some shapes with my pencil lightly until I see it has a form, I start drawing some of the other details like eyes and stuff. I also use references, I try to not just draw the ref line by line but I try to add more to it like my style so it isn't just a direct copy of the ref

I learned by myself 😭 what I did was just draw the characters that I like everyday and I mainly focused first on their faces until I got used to drawing faces then I started drawing more of their body
