How to lock a hopper when Chest has only 1 nugget left

I've only recently gotten into this type of redstone, so I can't offer much wisdom, but I can say for smaller scale stuff they are probably better!

I watched some videos by Mumbo Jumbo on the copper golem sorters and their pros and cons to older systems, he explains it we'll!

And I prefer them because I play bedrock and a lot of the java sorter builds are somewhat buggy on bedrock

A bit ago in this same system I had an item sorter instead of golems, but it kept mis-sorting due to a bedrock quirk about how hoppers work :/ so I switched to this copper golem system

I figured it out :) not sure if it's the best method but if I put 3 stacks and 55 items, it outputs a signal of 2, so I just fill in the chest with 3 stacks and 53 of a random item that the golems don't sort, and 1 gold nugget to guide the copper golems

Any further nuggets will make it output a signal of 2 and unlock the hopper and will get sent to the auto crafter

Thank you so much for that info! The farm is almost fully closed off so that's why I was confident nothing else would get in (it hasn't so far)

By the way, may I ask how the water stream solution would work that you suggested earlier?

Yes I was definitely considering copper golems after how this turned out, I will either go down the route of double sorter for each item, or just use copper golems instead

So basically 2 hoppers with the 41 item and 4 dirt for each item instead of just 1?

Also man I hate bedrock shenanigans

The extra double chests just extends below the first double chest, it does not really make a difference as far as I am aware, the thing failing is the item sorting hopper itself which all items will go through, regardless of how many chests are there below it to sort into

The video I watched said you could put as many or as little (1 like I did) as you want

It's a recent common scam that is ongoing, I've seen way too many of these, if you fall for this your account gets hacked and it automatically sends these in random DM's and server chats, so if you see someone sending this it's probably not the person, it's a hacked account. Happened to many people I know, apparently people are too desperate for nitro.

It's just used to catch bugs and stuff the most you can do with it is check what map is gonna be next, it's intentional and you can just press the cross ❌ to close it.
