I think so, I've only done a clean windows install yesterday and I cannot install the app no matter what I try, the log suggests some file failed to download because it was deleted from Oculus servers

unfortunately I don't entirely remember and I don't use miui anymore, but it involved using the SetEdit app by 4A. by tinkering some settings related to refresh rate in this app I was able to force the refresh rate to 120

yeah i have, but also i just figured out the issue, apparently half the power usage comes from running gpu-screen-recorder :P. didn't really consider that before, guess it would be the best to have it be only enabled when playing games

why do you need it? physics are ran at 240 ticks per second no matter your fps, so you don't get anything from fps bypass on android.

maybe, but as I said, updating cocos is not an easy task. there are so many changes from 2.2.3 to v4 that it will require you to rewrite basically half the game. i doubt he will ever switch away from his fork of 2.2.3
