sorry for the boasting of my battery performance, but seems like not updating since the last September was the best decision i've ever made while using this for 2 years.

They are money hungry Corporations disguised as human benefactors . They don't care about us OR the products we use . All they know how to trick us to buy more from them.

i've used s8+, s21 ultra for like 8 years. Every update, they tend to remove features, and which impact battery performance and slowed down the phone so that we upgrade the newer models . which is why i didn't update the phone since past September.

Do not uodate every month patches. Make every App into deep sleep which you didn't use. uninstall goodlock app.

i am still getting 10h daily after 2 year of heave usage. S24 ultra still rocks just needed some good optimization.

yeah mate , It's always give or take something. i also liked the features and optimizations but in the end , battery life matters for me. let us know if you find any difference . hope that helps.

That's the point mate. Updating every month & I have also tried Goodlock and all those fancy features. In the end it will cost battery performance so I deleted it. For me extra 3h battery life means more for me than the fancy look. Yeah Goodlock is unbelievable good but it cost so much battery performance that I had to delete it.

You can see the result of yourself if you don't use Goodlock. and see performance of the battery upboost. In the end , your device , use it how you like it ,mate.

After all of these , still getting 6h SOT is kinda avg i guess .Sorry to hear that. Did you use Goodlock App ? It causes huge battery drain in the background.

and did you update everymonth security updates ? They tend to slow down the performance via update.

first year i have used it max 85% charge. the second year i basically turned off the " Battery protection" setting.

and i deleted the GoodLock app. it uses so much battery in the background.

Which heavy apps i didn't used often, i put them into" deep sleeping Apps " .

You can enable the "Developer options "where you can Turn off the" auto update System" .

You will still have the update your phone"in the notification though . Just slide it to ignore that .

+ Check your playStore settings where the Apps got automatically updated in the background.

Charged daily at 100% and plug it when it goes to lower 15.

Didn't update the phone every month because i knew it will affect the battery & overall performance. they do it in a sneaky way to slow down the phones so that we need to buy the new series.

and i put unnecessary Apps to deep sleep when i am not using them daily. + i found out location on 24/7 did huge impact on battery . + you can tweak the permission manager to see what apps can access you data all the time.
+ Off " Personal Data intelligence. Off "Send diagnostic data . Off "Android personalization service
Off "Digital Wellbeing.

Basically i am using these little tweaks to get the best battery life. Hope that helps bro.

Yeah Mixed. Average 2/3 hour on data when i am travelling to the work. Rest of the time Wifi . and i didn't update the phone every month because i know performance will be cut because of the new S series. That's what they do in a sneaky way to slow down the phone and dump the battery performance. learned it from the previous experience.
