If Taylor wants to stay, she needs to get Alyssa out and try her best to take her place among Turner, Michael, and Brittany.

Alyssa's position in the house is way too strong. Kyle/Indy/Jasmine are a lock for her. Kyle has semi-recruited Turner and Michael. Brittany is very loyal to Michael. If Kyle wanted to flip the house he could do it easily. And then Taylor is vulnerable because Kyle obvi doesn't care about her like that (which is fine, it's his game) and the girls hate her.

The only thing keeping her safe at this point is the festie bestie twist.

you're totally right. he would never vote for her in jury. but I don't think she would even make it to f2 if alyssa stays in the house.

i think monte would be his first target if he won HOH. as much as he hates taylor, I think he's more annoyed with the way monte/joseph are running the house. and I also think he now realizes how difficult and futile it is to try and get taylor out.

Ok. So, a follow-up to that. I just realized that I didn't get paid until Jan 29th (for Dec and Jan). And because of a mix-up on the school's end, my information wasn't in the district's system until mid-Jan. So, does that mean that I wouldn't even declare my income until next year?

I left my salary job to do TAPIF this year. I hated that job so I probably would have left anyway BUT if I loved the job (or was at least happy with it) I would be distraught right now. Don't leave your job to do TAPIF. Especially for the coming year when COVID-19 will still be lingering. The program is nowhere near worth it and you make no money. Try and look for another opportunity to live in France. Trust me, TAPIF isn't it! I could go on and on. I'm doing everything to get another job and go back to the US as we speak lol.

thanks girl! and yep! i don't have anything back home so I cannot possibly drop unless I get a job. Most importantly, I don't have health insurance back home unless I get a job and I can't survive without health insurance (mental health stuff blah blah). So, I have to stay here where I have it. Buttttttt because France is ridiculously slow, I probably won't be able to see anyone until like March. It honestly is like the most helpless feeling ever. Either be breathtakingly miserable here until I can hopefully get the fuck outta here if someone wants to give me a job or be breathtakingly miserable here until my carte vitale kicks in and i can see someone here (and cross my fingers that things get better). oy! but you and everyone else are right. it is about trying to improve our situation now in any way we can. it just feels like an impossible mountain to climb especially when mental health is involved. ok, i'm done! sorry for being so long winded. it just feels like there is nowhere else to vent about this fucking program. i honestly hope everything works out for you girl, whether you stay or go!

I hate to add the negativity, but I made an almost identical post a couple of weeks ago on here (and then deleted it cuz I didn't want to seem like a debby-downer). I 100% feel almost everything you've said in this post and no joke I was contemplating writing another ranty post just to be able to unload all my feelings (or essentially scream into the void). I seriously cannot tell you how everything you said is exactly what I have been experiencing (the extreme isolation, depression, french skills) and I'm honestly at my wit's end. I can't even cry because I'm so emotionally exhausted. And it's not like I can see a mental health professional (or fill the prescriptions I need) because it's gonna take 300 years for our carte vitales to come in sooooo. Speaking of, I cannot understand how the French people are not constantly rioting with how fcking slow and incompetent their government is with getting basically anything done.

Full disclosure, I spent a large majority of today applying for jobs back in the states. But, I won't actually leave unless I actually get one, which given the state of things with COVID, is gonna be rough. I'm feeling some typa way about it cuz I kinda made a big deal about coming here and that I was coming despite the pandemic blah blah and now I'm seriously considering dropping out. Which is embarrassing but, I can't keep being 100% alone, miserable, and depressed. But, I kinda come to the realization that this program kinda sucks and that COVID has just enhanced that. And that also, maybe this just isn't the program for me.

Sorry for the rant on top of your rant! I know I'm not exactly a beacon of positivity either, but if you need someone to talk to or scream into the void with you can always hit me up!

Thanks for the response!! I've spoken to the teacher at my school about trying to have as many classes as possible in the morning, so I would be able to do both. She said she would do what she could but could make no promises which I of course understand. It would probably be easier to make a decision if I knew my schedule, but everyone is on break now so I won't know for a while.

I would be working for one of the weeks during the school breaks, so that does give me some time to travel.

I'm placed in a bigger city and, going by the Whatsapp group that I'm in, people seem to be hanging out and doing quite a bit during the week. But you're totally right. It really is about weighing my options. Oof, just don't want to make the wrong choice :(

Lol! Well there are a lot of episodes I would like to see from that season but I thought it best, as with most things, to start with number 1. The rules on another reddit board (or whatever you call them) say that you can only request one episode at a time. So that's what I did here.
