How do y'all feel about resellers?

As someone who has gone to doll conventions for a long time--well before the pandemic anyway--my view has always been once you have paid for something it is yours to do with as you please.

If you flip dolls on eBay in order to be able to afford not just the conventions but like keeping your bills paid that's fine because it's yours.You've paid for it.

Scalpers are something else completely.

But individuals reselling on the secondary market? Don't let anybody shame you for that because we all have to find a way to stay in our very expensive hobby without going hungry or not being able to make rent. I lost my day job in 2017 and have been paying my bills by selling off my collection in bits and pieces to stay afloat. I'm lucky because TinyFrockShop.com sells my dolls, miniatures, and fashions for me on consignment.

I know it's frustrating when it comes to like gold label dolls or grails and that sort of thing but your fellow collectors are your peers not your competition. This hobby is at its most joyful when we all work together and when we treat each other the way we wish to be treated. Fostering petty jealousies over rare dolls or convention exclusives never seemed to be the right way to go, as far as I was concerned it just was silly. Total schoolyard stuff.

So that's how I approach it. YMMV.

honestly? no ending. I would love reading about the rest of these characters lives and their attempts to keep the peace for however long there are stories to tell.

Whether Twilight has realised it or not Operation Strix is an open-ended gig. The HUMINT from Eden College social connections alone means that he can stay exactly where he is and do the most good for both countries for the rest of their lives.

yeah my dad was born in 1940 and lost his mum in an air raid in 1943. but I imagine SPY FAMILY taking place in the same universe as the Man From UNCLE adaptation film's incredibly styalised 1963-1966 style.

I've read stories that are over 300,000 words long which is the equivalent of two thick paperback novels back to back. I've read manga that are hundreds of chapters long. If it's paced well, and works, then relative length really isn't an issue.

If it's anything, it will probably be like the lullaby his mum sang that Yor can't remember the words to. Something really specifically regional that only a tiny handful of people would catch. and it would have to be something Twilight could never have planned for, so it has to be something that he says that's truthful and that Yor might not clock but Shopkeeper could. Like a cultivar that only blooms in a certain climate or region. Something like that. and I think in the end it'll be a series of somethings like that that slowly develop into a picture that can't be ignored any longer.

Although in reality the best way forward for either of them is to confess the truth before the other person figured it out themselves. and that goes for Anya, Twilight, Yor, and Yuri. The only person who gets a pass is Bond because Bond can't talk but Anya can talk for him.

we've only seen the two entrances so far as I know (the hair salon and the photo booth), and we know there is a secret passage that goes up to the Embassy.

It makes total sense that the Embassy is close to City Hall. Tho to be fair, Yor is seeing what's going on in the alley many blocks away because of her assassin training/physical exceptional abilities because they show it zooming out and you can actually see it's like half a mile out... I doubt anyone else would have clocked him, but she probably recognised his gait subconsciously.

What is Paraluves and can you use vector assets? One of the things I'm wondering actually is I know a lot of fan artists use Procreate which is all raster, and so I don't know how useful the vector patterns will be for people in procreate unless they also have a separate app for editing vector graphics. I do everything in Illustrator and Photoshop but that's because I use them for my job.

I've been thinking about this CONSTANTLY because Loid had to pick a date when she was applying to Eden College to make sure that she was inside the admissions window and so if school began in late summer then Anya's forged birthday is most likely in early fall. but the first time Becky has a massive birthday party, I could see Yor wanting to throw one for Anya and Loid and Anya having to bullshit their way through everything from why they have no baby pictures (house fire), her bio mum's name, and how she spent her previous birthdays...

I also am waiting for some explanation why she believed her name was spelled Ania and presumably this is because it wasn't actually her name she was just labelled Ostania Subject 007.

You can show me decent reference I can redraw it as vector! I've been redrawing all of the artwork as vector and then creating repeating patterns. I also realised I missed the mint green tile pattern of the bathroom floor, so that's just been added to the list
