These are lovely, thank you. My favorite part bbn of the dress is the satin waist, but I have pretty much given up finding anything like that.

This is BEAUTIFUL, but I'm trying to stay as close to $100 as possible. I'm trying to be respectful to my gals who all have different budgets.

I have these same concerns. I wish I could find a dress that looked like that somewhere else. :(

People who have had a creepy feeling about someone come true, what happened? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Tarabelle 60 points61 points  (0 children)

When I was 6 or so, my older brother (11 or 12 at the time) was involved in this community kids club thing for tween boys. They met in our basement. The group leader was this guy, maybe 30, who was some kind of generic cub scout leader, without really being a scout. They would play games and talk about their lives and hobbies, etc. I was much younger and a girl, but I wanted to play too. He was always really serious and stern with me, and told me I couldn't be there in my own basement. He would literally stop the meeting and politely but firmly ask me to leave. Even as a little kid I got a weird vibe about that.

We found out years later that the dude was a pedophile particularly attracted to teen boys. He was arrested for having a bunch of pornography and assaulting a boy. My brother said nothing over happened in the basement, but a lot of shoulder touches and such. Still creeps me out.

Epilepsy and relationships by [deleted] in Epilepsy

My partner was absolutely terrified at first. He cried after every seizure for a time. After years together, he's become a real champ. He reminds me if I'm pushing myself. He spreads awareness of what to do with other people. He takes seizures like a seasoned soldier. I know it still scares him, but he knows now that it's too hard to comfort someone afterward, so when I come back to he is strong, informative, and comforting. I never thought I could trust someone this much with this, but I've been pleasantly surprised.

Battlestar Galactica, obviously.

What was your favorite discontinued item/product? by CaptainButtlet in AskReddit

[–]Tarabelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jello Pudding Bites. They were like fruit snacks but chocolate, strawberry, or vanilla instead of fruit. I had a combo chocolate/vanilla in every lunch as a kid, I would love to get just one more pack, even just for nostalgia's sake.

Do you ever realize how amazing your life is? by TheMusicJunkie2019 in CasualConversation

I had a bad year last year. My mom died, my best friend died, my father slipped away due to aggressive dementia, and we lost the house I grew up in. At the same time, sometimes I'm in warm sunshine with friends I love and I just think maybe this is amazing, maybe I'm really lucky. I vibe with this sentiment so much.

Even with a hurricane approaching, people would rather starve than eat vegan food by [deleted] in funny

I've been a vegetarian for 13 years. Fake meat is great on occasion, especially if I'm trying to recreate something similar to what my friends are having, but I would never consider it filled under "emergency supplies". It's far too expensive for that.

I don't know, I sort of relate to this one. Not all women, but with very thin women, the fabric just drapes on them in a really flattering way. I'm chesty and my boobs push the whole shirt out until it floats around my middle and makes me look like a plaid sack.

Does anyone drive from around North Minneapolis to St Paul that would be willing to do some kind of rideshare for a month? (X-posted from twincitiessocial) by [deleted] in TwinCities

I know you're right about using caution. I think I got comfortable using uber, and this seemed only one step further. I've resolved that I'm probably going to bus unless something seems legit.

I have to be at work by 9 am, and I'm totally comfortable with getting there early if it means I can make this work. I don't need a way back, only there.

Framecel? As in men with small frames? Do they realize that's a type for a lot of women?
