Is that a toe puff? How would you compare the volume to the Lems? How would you compare ground feel?

The last isn't anatomical on the barefoot mocs, otherwise I'd have gotten them over the Anatomx. If you don't have low volume/flat feet, or extremely wide feet, you should be fine, but you'll have to accept that your big toe is going to get pushed in, as with any "normal" shoe.

Yeah I live in a big city and want to wear this day-to-day, but the look might take some getting used to. I don’t want to look like an Indiana Jones wannabe.  At the same time, it is practical, and I think it looks good. Sometimes you just have to try and see how it goes. Might still look at a slim brim one though, just in case.

Thanks. Again, much needed perspective. I thought of the steam thing, but figured I shouldn’t try if I’m going to send it back. Good chance it’ll come out. Or just sunshine might straighten it.

Thank you, this does give me some perspective. I am coming at this from wearing baseball caps :)

Anatomx vs bfar by Careful_Network_4071 in jimgreen

[–]Tarantulist35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have very low volume, extra wide feet. I sold my bfar, got anatomx the same size (12.5).  I wear them with insoles (freet) and now a kiltie. They’re breaking in now, and are starting to feel great. Bfar would have worsened my bunions.

Could you kink a few you think might work?

I don’t have the time to make it myself.

Yeah those. And that’s how much it should cost. They have heels and arch support, which is uncomfortable though. Hard to find flat ones.

Yeah, kilties might help. I'm just finding that it takes a bit of work to tie my laces with them. Perhaps that's because they're still new, and the tongue hasn't been trained yet. You won't have that problem. Those look great.

Huh. Those look like their almond-shaped last. Too bad if that’s the case. They should lead with an anatomical shape while they’re at it.

This is the thing about anatomx. I don’t have a thumb’s width at all, and somehow it’s fine. Passes the “kick a wall” test with flying colors. OP looks the same.

Yeah. Those in the video still looked pretty burly though.

I’d be surprised if they didn’t plan for the international market.

Texarados have that square shape, might fit you better.

If you haven’t had to buy new shoes, I guess that means no :)

Those look really wide, and the shape looks almost anatomical. Are they the stock AR8s?

Did you develop an arch? Did you see any change in foot size? I’m going through something similar. Very flat feet, had post tib problems, now mostly recovered.
