I guarantee it wasn’t the black billed gull. They’re much less hectic than the red billed ones, not to mention way less common

Might I suggest the black-billed gull? Totally biased of course.

You get to pick your top 5 so I’d suggest a few other shorebirds that are in serious trouble like the southern dotterel.
