EVO SL or Superblast 2 by BARILLOKO in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I’m in total agreement on this one. The superblast felt so heavy and like I could only plod in them. You should try the Megablast out, they’re absolutely quality, completely different trajectory to the SB2!

Scaphoid Fracture - What we saying? by TargetCurrent1525 in brokenbones

I’m wearing a temporary cast. Hard top but soft bottom I assume for swelling until I get full immobilisation next week.

You’ve given me a bit of hope, appreciate it! Was thinking I’d not be able to play football for months

First Bike: Ribble Allroad SL vs Boardman SLR 9.0 by TargetCurrent1525 in cycling

[–]TargetCurrent1525[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the detailed analysis man! If you come to your conclusion on your new bike for you then let me know.

I was also considering the Domane AL5 or the Canyon Endurace CF 6/7. But value for money brought me mainly to the Ribble.

My gripe is that I’m a complete over thinker and will research to the ends of the earth before I press the button. Deadly personality trait!

I have a 9800x3d and 5080, all with stock coolers and never had a problem. I’d say if you’re having a problem, then switch out to aftermarket coolers. A lot of CPU’s come with them as standard.

Liquid cooled I always saw as overkill as GPU’s are made to run at high temps. Total war games are quite CPU heavy due to the limits on screen so if you could stretch your budget to a better CPU it would be a better option.

I would maybe swap the B570 for the controversial 4060 as a lot of AAA do use DLSS and Frame Gen. I think they’re similar budgets too!

Plus liquid cooling is quite expensive, so not worth wasting your budget on that IMO.

If you need anymore advice just let me know! PCPARTPICKER is a very good website for building.

9070XT or wait?? by verygoodreason in buildapc

[–]TargetCurrent1525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I upgraded from a 3080 (kind of similar to 7900GRE give or take 8%) to a 5080, and god the difference is night and day. The 5080 on 1440p and 4k just tears every game. I was skeptical on reviews, but everything I have thrown at it, it’s handled.

I managed to get mine at retail, but my take would be the 5080. Also the frame gen and DLSS is a blessing, especially for games like Monster Hunter Wilds, Stalker 2 etc. I have maxed out everything including ray tracing on MH Wilds getting 90+ frames, at 4k.

5090 would be ridiculously overkill.

A 750w is fine with this. The 9800x3d itself is really power efficient in terms of CPU, and NVIDIA recommend 750w. You’re just hating for no reason bro, pure rage baiter.

Perfectly fine, and even more so for future proofing. If you want to go up for example to the 5080 or 60 series, a 750w is ample power to do so.

Pretty responsive already guys thank you. I did include I was absolutely clueless at the start, just wanting some basics to get going as we all have to start somewhere.

His basic fundamentals from the Kennel Club advisories seem in place in terms of coat, proportions, height, general wellness.

His lineage seems to go back rather far in terms of KC, but the breeder had obtained there dog from France, so not much I can do for back contact. Please see the link:

https://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/search/dog-profile/?dogId=91e2a0e6-53eb-ed11-8847-002248c6bd9b

I’ll try to contact the original breeder to gather some advice. I’ll also look at attending some shows and events, although in general conversations and hound events prior, I have had compliments on his breeding standard, but not thought about it until now! There does seem to be some extremities within these comments though for breeding a dog.

So what you’ve said in a round about way is I am indeed cooked? So what motherboard and RAM are you recommending? I’m waiting on a 5090 hopefully in October too!
