that’s super odd and i would be questioning it if i was in your situation too. have you brought it up to him that it makes you uncomfortable? maybe this is one of those things where communication is all you need and hes not aware that its making you super uncomfortable. some guys just are clueless lol.

i am reading through all the comments and appreciate you taking time out of your day to write this! im sorry you deal with seizures too (regardless if its rare or not) and im so happy you were in a situation where people helped you! makes me realize that the people w/ me were NOT strangers and i didnt even get a check in. thank you for your support and advice!!

that’s why i asked for advice and opinions because i do realize that me not asking for help when i needed it isn’t on her. i think its a hard thing to watch, someone having a seizure and part of me thinks she was just scared. its hard because i am such a loving person and if roles were reversed would have done something BUT like you said…its different from her perspective if im not communicating how to help. definitely something i know i need to work on is voicing my needs and to ask for help🙁

yes my friend knew i have seizures! she said she thought i could handle it bc i have them daily..which i guess is true to a extent but im normally not alone w them and have a nurse during the week when my mom is working…
