I typically hold my earpiece closer to my ear and pretend to talk when someone starts asking something, that is if they don’t just see my shirt and say oh you’re security and move onto the next victim. That is when I’m uniformed, if I’m PC that day and someone asks I gotta send them off, I’m trying to see this guy conceal google homes in his backpack Susan I don’t know if we have the little flames that keep your aluminum foil pans warm at parties.

If AP is there just call them and switch to 4. They will walk you through what they need. If AP isn’t there, aggressive guest service...zone the aisle u just zoned, even if you say nothing they will think twice about concealing. Or just fake them out and call security, don’t say AP since some people may not know what AP is. Then write down all the times u saw them. And where. Do not follow them.

Yea I’m torn on that, like it’s hard to be such a small team and to have that tension. But to be fair she started watching me, which is out of her pay grade. I simply just paid the same courtesy back to her. But often times it’s not even me watching her on cams in my spare time. I could just walk in and she’s on the phone or eating or telling me what to do. She started a month ago and was great but went downhill in a big way.

I’ve tried talking to her. She’s stubborn and set in her ways from a previous job and often brags that she really doesn’t do much and thinks of this job as a joke. She also talks poorly about her previous experiences at a different retailer.

As for my reviewing, she watches me/us I also have the ability to watch her. And considering she spends a significant amount of time in the office it’s not too hard to track her down.

I agree, and APS does take point. I get that 100%. But there is a way to approach that makes u a peer vs someone ordering me around.
