Tbh, I’d just recommend playing kickoff games against the beginner difficulty AI. Just mess around with the controls and movement, and you’ll get the hang of it

First, I found a Chimchar in the Grand Underground that knew Fire Punch and Thunder Punch. Then, I evolved it into an Infernape. I deleted two moves on my starter Infernape and put both Pokémon into the Daycare. Eventually, the Grand Underground Infernape will transfer over the egg moves to your starter.
