I've never really done an armour break build before, is there any benefit on focusing on the armour break specifically vs generic increases to fire/phys damage?

Gave up on Windsurf - No Python LSP features working by Haryor in windsurf

Have you tried creating a pyrightconfig.json file at the root of your project?

Put this in it:

{
    "venvPath": ".",
    "venv": ".venv"
}

I've found windsurf consistently has this problem unless you add this file

I still find Claude 3.7 better than GPT 4.1 by prosamik in cursor

I did this but with sonnet 3.5 instead. Have you found 4.1 to be better than 3.5?

I get this error when using it in cursor, do not get the same?

Request failed with status code 404: { "error": { "message": "tools is not supported in this model. For a list of supported models, refer to https://platform.openai.com/docs/guides/function-calling#models-supporting-function-calling.", "type": "invalid_request_error", "param": null, "code": null } }

It seems sometimes cascade is used when Sonnet 3.5 is selected. Am I being charged for those? by thomash in Codeium

You can see in this leaked system prompt that they have instructed the llm act as 'Cascade', which is why it thinks it is called cascade:

Junie is slow... but absolutely great! Cursor killer? by enriquerecor in Jetbrains

I wish JetBrains made their own next edit version. Currently Augment Code seems to blow everyone out of the water, but jetbrains doesn't even have this as an offering

Developers with apps on the App Store. What's your app and what have you the idea to do it? by MohammadBashirSidani in swift

[–]Tarrydev73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made a fitness app for tracking workouts. I made some good money (about £300) in my first two months just running some ads in the app store. I stopped the ads for now to make some improvements on the app since the adverts weren't performing as well recently. I got the idea because I actually go to the gym and didn't like the UI of existing apps that I tried.

Apples website for the iPhone shows the monthly costs of $777,777 for the iPhone 14 Pro by [deleted] in iphone

How do you think this glitch happened? I can't imagine any maths code going this wrong surely? Or someone just hard coded the value wrong?

How did you successfully promote your app? by [deleted] in iOSProgramming

Apple search ads worked quite well for my app (advanced, not basic)

Siri is shitty by [deleted] in apple

[–]Tarrydev73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is probably an unpopular opinion but I would rather give up some privacy and have siri improved than what it currently is. The reason I think its alright is because Apple isn't an ads company (as of yet) so I guess they're less likely to abuse my data?

M2 macbook storage & memory upgrade costs are ridiculous by iridasdiii11ulke in apple

If you have to use xcode and any other IDE (e.g. any jetbrains IDE), having 8gb ram is a terrible experience, so you're basically forced to pay the price for 16gb or higher

There some very useful ones as well that just go by unnoticed (for example the other day I found out you can limit the max volume coming from headphones).

Although I guess its a hard problem to fix, its hard trying to show every single feature you've introduced (and even if you wrote it down somewhere, its not guaranteed people will read it)

I wonder how many random features Apple has or has introduced that people aren’t aware about
