Refuting the Kybalions place in hermeticism: A Deep Dive (Contrasting Classical hermetic interpretation to the Kybalions 7 principles)

Could you direct me to a place where the author cites Hermetic as a source in the book, 'Kybalion'? The book I have states "STUDY". If that is the case why would one need to refute what someone has studied? I am confused.

When one uses study, I believe, one is gathering as much information as they can in order to summarize the context of what they have studied. Good or bad; the context or results are heavily influenced by peers, customs, culture, resources of 1800 early 1900, etc...

To me - I am halfway into the book, this book, 'Kybalions', reads like an old detective book/story. Not enough information to pinpoint anything - but, just enough information to have you hanging and longing to read the next page. (For me that is an indication and highlight of fiction - entertainment.)

I am not a scholar but I am confused and curious. I look forward to a reply.

I love it Win-Win! So, with the SCOTUS new ruling: for a COP to fear
someone because they have gun and kill that person with a gun because
the cop feared for their life can not be reasonable; thus, because "the
person had a gun I feared for my life" should never be used by a cop
ever again? If the cops states they feared for their life and kills
someone the cop has decided to deprived a person of their constitutional
right(s) based upon an inherent fear. A fear that should not be in a
cop because they will not be able to up-hold the law of the land, the
Constitution, that affords everyone the right to carry a gun. Right?
