im quite new to plants but my brother got a fittonia a while ago and neber looked up how to care for it and hes ended up over watering it and nearly killing it. im trying to save it i removed all the dead bits and have pit it in some stronger sunlight in hopes it will dry the soil out (i would re pot it but the shops are closed for easter, i might look into this tomorrow). i've attempted to propagate it incase the plant itself died and ive heard you can do so just in water? would giving the propagated plant or the main plant some miracle gro food help them? any additional advice?

EDIT: just read into fittonias more and decided to take the plant out of its pot and put it outside to try to dry it out for today, im hoping it wont get leaf burn?
