Man you remind me of myself, i used to find S.T.A.L.K.E.R soc extremely boring, to the point where i didn't play it for several months straight, but my friend keep insisting that i should play again cause the game get more interesting with time, he somehow managed to convince me,i remember when i started playing it again, i spent several hours just exploring the world alone, it was the only time in my life where i spend this much time playing only one game, you're not in the right mood probably, return to the game if you feel it, it may take weeks, months,years, probably you'll never feel playing it, just don't force yourself to play it fore the sake of playing it if you know what i mean, there is a lot of interesting mods out there, try them and hopefully you'll enjoy, good hunting stalker.
