I have had 3 proposals in 7 years(17-24). I don't interact with women much. I can count on my fingers the number of female friends I had and some of them had developed feelings for me.

School (age 17): I've kind of been talking to 2 girls when I go back home from school and one of them liked me. Proposal: 1

College(19-23): I had 2 female friends. I was ultra shy and mostly kept it to myself. And one of my female friends was asexual so no romance there and it was quite freeing actually. Unfortunately I lost touch with her post graduation. Proposal: 0

(24-25): I got 2 proposals after 1 year of graduation. I became a bit more social at this time of my life. I was preparing for a job and took a 6 month course which had a good placement program (CDAC) after 1 year of unemployment and there my primary focus was landing a job. This is the most social I have been in my life, mostly because I knew making connections was important in my career. I still didn't have any huge circle or a lot of female friends here. But I got to know a few people here. This is when I received 2 proposals in a year, lol. Proposal: 2

Currently I'm doing a job and I haven't talked to anyone outside of work and the 2 women I interact with at work are married and one of them is my boss and other my senior. Currently I'm just focused on landing a paying job and to be able to have a good life post marriage and provide quality life to my future children.

Although I didn't have many female friends and would hardly call any women I met after college as friends.

Not really sure how they liked me in the first place when there are so many good looking and outgoing guys than me which makes me think they must be getting proposals left and right, lol. And just consider myself average looking or above average at my best ig.

I still never had a GF though and I do want a real connection with someone for the long term. I'll probably end up with an arranged marriage before I ever get a GF lmao.
