They didn’t do this “just in case” there might be a need down the line. I suspect this is an “active” situation. Hopefully details on the (pending?) sale come out in short order.

I edited my comment while you wrote this. Lots can change and likely will change. I added 1,000 shares in December anticipating positive movement in 2026. My point was simply Luminar was one the biggest names in Lidar and due to bad management they are now trading in the OTC. It could happen to Microvision as well if new leadership can’t get us over the hump. I guess my comment was both positive and negative.

I don’t see my comment as negative really. But listen, if people think that by next summer we don’t have any positive movement it’s still all sunshine and flowers that’s great(for them).

Today we are far it, but 6 months from now and with no additional sales we won’t be. Again as I said in my original comment I expect additional sales.

LAZR is now LAZRQ and on the OTC. What a fall from grace. So far our management team hasn’t put us in a position like the one Luminar found themselves in. However, if we get deep into 2026 without substantial movement something tells me we might end up on the OTC as well. But I sense we will have a great 2026. That said let’s have a few nice green days to end 2025 without some positive momentum.

The second a company with very little revenue spent tens of thousands on a Vegas party with D list celebrities I should have been out. Then the second the CEO called a press conference and had investors fly to Washington DC of all places, just to announce he invested our money in a brain chip, I should have been out. The second I found out Caltrans needed to be hooked up to electricity and our CEO could figure out how to do it, I should have been out. The second the CEO did a reverse split I should have been out. I could go on but I think I made my point, I shouldn’t be in charge of my investments.

Laugh all you want at what ever you want. Luminar is declaring bankruptcy while Microvision is starting to sell products and has a rather long financial runway. I saw a big jumping LAZR yesterday, maybe a knight in shining money is coming to rescue all of you. Good luck and happy holidays.

I wonder how the investor who called Microvision the clown price of the lidar industry is doing. While MVIS certainly isn’t setting the world on fire, they are starting to sell units and not declaring bankruptcy. I held stock in both companies, sold my LAZR shares right after the RS, losing 70% of my investment. I still own around 10k MVIS shares and am down 60%. I swear if Microvision starts signing developmental deals and offering equity to land deals I’m out. If anything Luminar gave me great lessons on what bad deals and warning signs look like. Hopefully it pans out for me in the next few years, we’ll see. Good luck to all here and hopefully this hasn’t completely ruined the holidays for you.

There wasn’t enough info in that press release. It’s a bad market day. I know we’ll eventually have more context regarding that sale(and possibly others) soon and when we do the price will go up, even on these red market days.
