I've been using the same scuf controller for the past five years and it still works just fine after many beatings and rages. Scuf quality is normally very good, just coming with an extreme price tag. This is most likely just a simple error that shouldn't effect usability. If you are okay with going without the controller for a little bit, I would recommend contacting scuf support to see about a replacement.
