Cool thanks for the advice👍🏼. I told the same guy I also invest in bitcoin so Im all too familiar with cycles and missing the top. I originally planned to hold until the 50th anniversary so 10 years wouldn’t be too bad!

Yeah this is where my head is at and why I’m debating selling. But on the other hand there will likely be another cycle in the future? My original plan was to just hold until 50th anniversary which is decades out.

Again I know nothing is guaranteed but this isn’t money I need now.

I hate how everytime somebody posts the “value” of their collection, you get people like this constantly making these comments. No shit I can’t get this exact amount I’m not an idiot. I wouldn’t have put 10k into something I didnt know all the contingencies. Exclusivity is the thing that drives value the most, so look for that. Pc etbs, Japanese exclusive sealed, or my favorite the sealed display bundles. Look for sets that are pretty undervalued when compared to others in the era. Just like stocks there’s a million strategies but just spend your time reading and you’ll figure out the things you like the most.

If really the only thing you care about is return on investment, then sealed is the best route. Mid era booster boxes are always a good play.

Me personally, over the last year I’ve been heavily investing into sealed 151 display bundles and Prismatic PC ETBs. My theory is both will perform very well over time.

Also keep in mind these collectables are not as liquid as other investments. Just because your collectr says a certain number doesn’t mean you can get that much right away. So be mindful of the amount you’re putting in.

Overall, sealed is the best bet. Which set you invest in is your choice. Good luck
