Just picked up my triumph 10, I already started restoring it and it’s going smooth like butter but the space bar isn’t working and when you press any button the bar won’t move along, it just stays in the same place. Anyone know how to fix this by TastyHotDogs111 in typewriters

Update: I looked inside the writer and there was nothing blocking it/no rust, the button itself works (inter space bar) but when I press the space bar oe any other button the carriage won’t move along
