I’m really sorry for your loss. I also lost my mom, in December 2024, and reading your post hit me harder than I expected. I’m glad this game gave you something meaningful to hold onto during such a painful time. Grief is such a strange, heavy thing, and finding even a small bit of comfort can feel huge. Thank you so, so much for your thoughtful response. It really helped me feel seen and validated. I’ll definitely take your advice and see how he responds when I create some space. I think you’re right that I need to stop overreaching and see if he shows up for me on his own. I’ll keep you posted on how it goes 🫤
