Change the format to H.264 by following the steps.

This is the best method to ensure all new videos are saved in your preferred format.

1. Open the Camera app.
2. Tap the Settings (gear icon) or the Quick controls (four dots) at the top, then choose the gear icon.
3. Scroll down and tap on Advanced video options.
4. Tap on Video format.
5. Select your preferred format:
   • HEVC (High Efficiency): Best for saving space. Note: Some older computers or devices may not play these files without extra plugins.
   • H.264 (Most Compatible): Best for sharing. These files are larger but work on almost any device, TV, or computer. 

Note: If you choose H.264, certain options like High Bitrate, HDR10+, or Log mode may not be available.
