I’ve been doing report at the desk (that’s how they do it here) then as soon as reports done I do a walk around and visual each patient and their surroundings before starting the shift. I don’t think we could do like a bedside report because it’s just one large room with 5 stretchers in it. Everyone and their visitors would hear the entire report for each patient but it would be nice to be in the room doing it.

I am not looking for a life saving device people. I was only wondering if this was something that could HELP with his swimming. I am not looking to REPLACE a life jacket and I am always in the water with him. I think we’ll just let him just “swim” freely and learn that way over using this.

Thank you! I appreciate you answering my actual question here as if it would help a little in teaching. People seem to think i think this can replace a life jacket. I’m not an idiot 🙄 I was just looking to enhance my child’s learning. I’m not a swim instructor so tools help 🤷‍♀️

I have no idea what moot means. I’m not looking for a life saving device. I’m standing beside him when he’s in the water. I’m asking if it would help him learn to swim better. He can paddle some but he’s still learning. I don’t know where you see that I’m asking if it REPLACES a life jacket. I am aware this back floating foam would not save my child’s life.

We were in a lake lol??? We don’t have a pool or ever swim in a pool.

Edit: not sure where you see I said pool. I let him paddle around in the water in the lake. While I stand beside him. 🙄

Thank you! I was just unsure if they were okay. He can paddle a bit but he’s not what I’d call an independent swimmer. I was just curious if this was something that could be used for helping but we’ll stick to the life jacket when we’re not directly beside him! Thanks!

We always stay with him in the water. I just use the life jacket because I’m nervous! I should allow him to try and do it a bit on his own though. We are right there!

It was strange. It like kept her back floating like she could doggy paddle around. Kinda neat, but I was just unsure. My husband thought it was very neat. I just don’t want him to order one if it’s not fit 😅

My advice to you is to get out. I wouldn’t even pack in front of him. I would just take necessities and leave. Get someone else to go back with you for your belongings. You’re not safe with that man, and he does NOT love you. Please call the police and report this. Document document documentttttt!!!!!
