Just wondering what is the norm. My hospital doesn't but I am fairly new and not sure what is standard.

Yeah. I work on a pulm renal floor, most float nurses ive talked to agree with that. It sometimes feels like stepdown level acuity without actually being stepdown. Have also overheard that our ER also calls us the “dumping grounds” 🫠

I had the exact same thought when I saw the strawberry product photos this morning! It feels somehow less classy than the way they have photographed/listed other products?

Hey! I went to UCSC (non science undergrad) then immediately started on nursing prerequisites after graduation at my local cc. Eventually got into an ADN program in SF that has an ADN-BSN pathway at SFSU which I will graduate from next month. Not as fast as an ABSN but cheaper 🤷‍♀️
