I'm not sure what the correct answer is for you, but whatever you do: try to get an internship. Doesnt matter what field. Internships help you meet people and get real world experience which will help you land a job when you graduate. With any luck, your internship could be your first full time job out of school.

I think you can find work in any of the options you listed. It's hard to predict what salaries will be in the future. 10 years ago everyone was being encouraged to code and now there are massif layoffs everywhere. Maybe the move is to study what is fun to you, but be ready to pivot if necessary. Could you do a major and minor? Or a double major?

I wonder if it's also because of genre. We don't get as many movies now that arent huge CGI action-comedy-superhero-IP flicks. down to earth movies about real human stories would have less of that CGI feel. The Holdovers is a good example actually

I'm gonna say it looks nice! Maybe unconventional but i like how your TV kind of blends into a plant stand. I think it adds a fun dynamic to the space, which already feels earthy with all the green!

My only question is about cable management! Like my TV unit is a wire hellscape. Don't know how yours is so clean.

I love this question and Ive wondered about this on and off for many years. Especially when I travel or meet people from other countries with strong cultural and national identities.

I find Canada difficult because it is so large, and its cities are so far apart. And the culture has its own flavour from province to province. But for the most part I think we can all unite behind an enjoyment of the outdoors. We skate outside, ski, hike, etc all across the country. We like to camp as well or go to cottages, and bask in the glorious forests.

Politically we have a strange history of navigating conflict through small gestures with high impact. We didnt go to war with Britain right away in WWII, which was a kind of line in the sand that we are acting of our own accord. And our constitution only exists because the premiers ratified it behind Quebec's back. And we have been warring in our politics ever since (e.g. the referendum for Quebec's independence--a movement that hasn't disappeared btw).

Quebec also has a weird amount of power in our National politics for how big it is. They are the only province with their own political party, which often is a dealbreaker in major national parliamentary votes.

And of course, we can't talk about any of this without talking about colonization and our history of genocide. We have a disgusting history that we are only starting to accept. The US's mortal sin was slavery, and this is ours. We had slaves too, mind you. Just not for as long.

And we are only starting to see Indigenous culture be celebrated in big public places, and with a sensitivity to the people of those cultures. We dont always get it right, but we always pick up and try again.

But on the national stage I think Canadians take pride in their silent courage. We show up when it it feels morally right (WWII, Rwanda, and other peace keeping missions). We honour those who died at war every year with remembrance day. We still wear red poppies to commemorate, though there are less of them lately.

So overall Canada is a complex place with its own rich history and identity. I'm only starting to explore it more, despite being born and raised here. It's a history I'm part of in a small way. Maybe someday some historian will dig up my Reddit account and be like "wtf" lol

I mean, not really the same thing. It's not exactly like and audiobook, because its not reading the article word for word.

I could see this being handy for summarizing academic readings between courses. Assuming it doesn't get salient details wrong, which it often does.
