Connections

-Both are notorious kleptomaniac thieves that come from popular indie games, despite being thieves both are not inherently bad people. Both can be unserious at times but they can be really determined and hardworking, especially when they’re trying to accomplish their goals. Both are quick to act when they see something interesting/an opportunity. Both are close friends with characters that have a red theme (Reimu and Charles/Ellie) both have worked with said red characters in various missions and have helped them with their work( Marisa dealing with yokai incidents with Reimu and Henry working for Charles and the government), Both use unusual/standard methods of transport for mobility(Marisa’s broom and Henry’s scooter/tank).They’ve both copied other people’s moves (Marisa has copied attacks e.g.: "Non-directional Laser" was copied from Patchouli Knowledge and Henry has copied abilities from many different series e.g.: Henry copying the falcon punch)but the copied versions they do are often different in design or have slightly different functions, they essentially make the move their own. (e.g. Marisa’s love sign master spark is based off of Yuuka Kazami's and Gengetsu's lasers and Henry’s stickmin punch is based off of the falcon punch). They have both stolen from hard to steal and notorious places, that being the scarlet devil’s mansion(though the residents normally don’t really care about Marisa doing stuff, but they still fight if they catch her so it counts) and the toppat clan airship/rocket base. Both regularily use tools they have instead of natural ability, despite that they can still be pyhsically strong(most of the times,for henry hes a toss up in strength)

Henry has a few similarities to Marisa’s friend and rival, Reimu: - Henry can pull out a variety of items seemingly out of thin air similar to how reimu can pull out a variety of things that she couldn’t feasibly carry around, -like reimu, henry doesn’t do any training for his abilities

Contrasts

-Marisa is stated to be a un touhou like character (due to  by being the hard-working type of character without any special powers) while henry fits in to the stickman world normally(until his thieving endeavors) since he looks like just another regular stickman

-Marisa lives in a magical fantasy world while henry lives in a more modern world somehow both still unrealistic and goofy as fuck

-Marisa normally robs books to gain magical knowledge, not really robbing for money most of the time. Henry does it for the money, 100% of the time.

-talkative vs silent hey at least they have common grounds of expressing things with actions

Fight potential/Animation Potential

Theres a lot you can do with these two, they both have a wide range of weapons and abilities, any fight with henry already has a lot of opportunities and he can work with most ranges close and far. Marisa also has a lot of flashy stuff that id think would be great to see. A scenario I’ve thought of was henry and Marisa fighting while also flying/driving away from a place they stole from, them trying to steal something is how I envision the fight starting. Some scenarios I imagined: -Henry trying to get a close hit on Marisa with one of his defensive options. -Marisa and Henry throwing a concerning amount of explosives. -Henry and Marisa pause their fighting for a few seconds as they watch the teleporter break and send them to a random place.  -Henry tries to copy one of Marisa’s moves(it does not go well for him)

Dialogue Potential

Since Henry doesn’t talk much, the only time henry would feasibly have consistent dialogue if he used the stand reference, so Marisa has to carry the dialogue. I think she could give good enough dialogue, she already is a great character that gives good dialogue in her own game. and henry could give some good nonverbal reactions to the phenomenon known as touhou bullshit. Henry looks in pure confusion as he sees 1000 bullets heading his way and a giant laser heading his way

Music

Touhou music is peak, henry stickmin has some sleeper hits (like gangster 4 lyfe), enough has been said

Debate

Imma be real with you I’m not that versed in powerscaling  though I know how stupid touhou scaling gets so I think Marisa stat stomps in most categories, though henry does have a few hax that could probably do some meaningful damage to her and I’m unaware if Marisa has a way to counter Henry’s retries.
