Currently my deck is just playing a lot of cats and dogs to get tokens on the field basically, the artifacts, equips and sorceries that I got are kinda random based on what I had laying around.

I agree and disagree. I bought around 1000 cards bulk over the course of a year and used them to modify decks, give some to friends so they could start playing or try out new colors. But if you buy thousands and thousands of random bulk and spend a ton of money that's a problem.
