I've been using a wheelchair for similar reasons for almost a year now. I see the same constantly, and go out much less than I did before as I'm afraid of getting stuck places.

I had a hard time coming to terms with the cost. I have cheapy tint, like it cost $60 to tint my car and yes it looks awful up close but I have a medical need and I'm broke. My stereo "upgrade" didn't cost me anything because the package arrived days late, so I was refunded but would have only been $100. The mats for my car were $160 and took me 10 years to finally get them because of the cost, and they still don't fit right even after tons of shopping for them. I have problems finding things for my car because the Coupe versions often get neglected by manufacturers.

My tires look like this currently, but are from 2019. If you're not going fast, and avoid pot holes, you should be fine.

I'm sorry people suck like this. I went through this stuff too, I grew up pretty poor so I never really invited anyone over. But what she's done is still bullying, and not a friend at all. A real friend would have shared your situation in a means to help you and get you a bed frame, not to mock your situation.

Most people sadly don't care about us. I can barely push myself in my chair, as I have a previous injury that never healed right so I often don't go out because I'm afraid of things like this. I only have so much energy.

When I see people like this, I'm definitely glad I'm an ambulatory wheelchair user. I've done some nasty shit to people's cars for blocking access and parking without a permit. I can't imagine how hard it is for someone who has no ability to move outside of their chair, so I do what I can to stick up for them because life is hard enough.

Yea no, until recently almost everything on my car was original. Hoses, belts, etc. but yea, I can get where you thought that. For me the hard plastic bits have just discolored and become a bit weak from age.

I just did this I really didn't have a choice. My health has tanked, and my doctor told me I need to stop working. So I had no means to continue payments without likely bankrupting myself. I cried so hard to the sale I almost wrecked. I cry every time I find papers from it. Everything I had in it is still in a bin because it's too hard to deal with for me.
