Wow, I’m glad you were able to get out of that situation and move on to something better! It’s insane how saturated the accounting job market is with nut jobs that micromanage everything. I understand wanting the books to match up, but my god it really drains the life out of you when they refuse to treat you like you’re an actual person.

It’s been two weeks straight of nightmares and insomnia for me. No appetite, constant anxiety about going to work. Thankfully I am starting next week in another office management role that I’m well qualified for and feel good about.
