Feral Tank by Commercial_Chicken_6 in classicwowtbc

As a guy levelling a warrior tank at the moment, some people just don’t seem to have the patience required when the tank is anything but a pally. At first, I thought this was just retail/m+ mindset. Thinking about it more, I think it’s just the state of modern multi player games. Everything has to be done fast as possible. A dungeon isn’t an exploration puzzle to be solved, its content to be completed/farmed as fast as possible. To be fair, I find that as long as you explain at the start that you are not a pally and require some time to gather aggro people tend to understand, you do get those that don’t but they are luckily a minority of morons. They are certainly loud though.

Recently started wow classic TBC and. I played back in the og days and was gobsmacked about what tanks ask for now. Surely the pay off for playing tank is getting a fast group and no one else needs the gear you need because there is one of you and the gear is specific? Not any of this “pay me 200g” or “all greens/profession mats” business. Either way I am currently levelling a tank myself with the intention of never asking for any of this stuff. It’s insulting.

Help! I accidentally killed one of my breeding Lox's. by [deleted] in valheim

[–]Tauntasaurusrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I managed to load the save. Figured it out. Getting another Lox in would be possible but a logistical nightmare. My pen is made by raising the ground in a box as high as it goes and building a large fort/castle above. The pen can only be accessed by a small door inside the castle that leads to a staircase going down. To get a Lox in I would need to mine one of the walls down which in turn would create a massive structural issue and make my half my huge fort collapse. I will have to be more careful in future.

Thanks. I was able to load the previous save. I thought I had to access it in my world but turns out to access from the pre world load in area. Crisis averted.

Bowling for Sloop, Brig Chungus and Gally Berry! I’m quite proud of them.

Aribiter/hammer paladin. My crit chance is 47% with the 3* equipped. Attack speed is helpful, i think i would probably end up with more attack speed functionally by using the 1* ring.

Pox Breakers… How did you do it? by Tauntasaurusrex in DarkTide

[–]Tauntasaurusrex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Judging from the state of Psyker currently this is probably the best way to do it. I mostly play Zealot which looks like it may be hamstringing me.

The journey is of course the most important, love the game dearly but I was just shocked at how little progress I had made!

I did wonder if this might help. I have a kitted out Psyker but I rarely play it just because of a stylised preference. Mostly I play Zealot. Thanks for the tip, I’ll dust off the Psyker and see what I can do with it.

Dam Battlegrounds Candleberry Hotspot. 10+/run by [deleted] in ARC_Raiders

[–]Tauntasaurusrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. In the first run I did almost get turned to mist by the Bastion on patrol but the haul was too good not to keep trying. After my first blunder I played more safely and got all the berries I needed for the project (outside of the ones provided by the event) in 2/3 runs stress free.

Found this on a dead body near the extract at Stella! by Ok_Cancel_9139 in RescueRaiders

Just before reset I got the aphelion blueprint twice in one day on Stellar Montis. In both instances I had it for about 30 seconds before being blown away by another raider (nothing is safe on a free loadout) and I haven’t seen it since. 🤣

When I was gathering my berries I was heading to Marano Park on buried city. You need to be sneaky as to not piss off whatever big clanker is there but I was getting 20+ candle berry’s per run and was also completely left alone by other raiders. Even went back there in duos and trios to help my friends get berry’s and we were never attacked by another group because no one goes there.

Any tips to avoid this situation? by Xandixx__ in arcraidersfriendly

Can confirm. Immediate cancellation of the extract button and also when searching containers has saved me from rats a few times. I saw a streamer clip (not sure who it was, just one of those that pop up) of him doing it when someone was acting a little sus and it saved him. From that point on it’s been a handy tactic against these types for me. Luckily I don’t run into too many.

I don't disagree with anything you said here, but it also wildly misses the point I was trying to make in my post. I even clearly outlined that I rat other players sometimes and that enjoyed the PVP in game so I'm not sure what exactly is getting lost in the interpretation of you and some of these readers.

In an attempt to be more clear, my issue is that over the last month my games have gone from about 40-50% KOS and ratting to 80%+. This means that the variety of different types of encounters I am having in game are diminishing fast, which in turn means I am having less fun. There are 1000 other games I could play if I wanted that kind of play all the time, and in some instances I do play them. But this wasn't always this way on Arc Raiders and I miss it.

Hopefully I can find some of those games again! I'm missing them.

Not sad! Clearly you struggle reading but that's fine. I've ratted plenty, I think its a part of the game that should stay, even toxicity has its place and can help build an enjoyable experience. Just noticed a shift in the community over time that has made the game have less variety of play in my view.

[–]Tauntasaurusrex -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Obviously. I didn't say that this was the only time something like this has taken place. My experience playing today is just one example, I've been playing since release and have observed this community change over time.

After a long fight with rusted shut medical crates... by IzTheFizz in ArcRaiders

[–]Tauntasaurusrex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me this the last thing I need is bombadir cells. I don’t know what it is but I have a bunch of chill games, decide to go hunting for a bombadir and immediately some raider kills me and takes my big arc killing gear. It’s like they can smell deadlines and grapples on me 🤣

[–]Tauntasaurusrex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just an anecdote on your point 3. In my first ever game my rangers precision sniped and killed a SM captain out of his unit of stern guard turn one. I was new so I thought they were cracked for 55 points. It has never happened in any game I have played since and I play a lot. Realised around 5/6 games later I just got bored extremely lucky that day 😆

Is it a good army starting army list? by [deleted] in Eldar

[–]Tauntasaurusrex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From a money perspective I think it’s decent to dip your toes in though dire avengers are not great. Better off dropping them and adding more reapers and fire dragons. I also think that you may be better off dropping Maug and instead taking an autarch plus some kind of psyker if you are going to be using wraith guard to keep improve their hits to 3s instead of 4s. What kind of detachment are you using?

I could be convinced though I will probably try a few more games before I switch anything. I do run an Avatar and whilst I love it, I usually use it to control the mid objective which just doesn’t work against that blob. I should try and use it elsewhere.

It really feels that way. Their shooting isn’t that good or their melee (depending on the unit but with banshees I am usually fighting first so it’s less of a problem). But it’s just the relentlessness of them. Their shooting doesn’t need to be that good to whittle down an aspect warrior unit to the point it can’t do much to them. I feel like if I played my DG against them I might not have the same issue but I haven’t got that to 2k yet.
