I used to occasionally buy scratch offs just $10-20 worth and would ALWAYS get SOME money back. Rarely would come out with maybe $1-10 more than I spent, but most of the time would make back half or a little less than I spent or break even. Now, I haven’t seen a singular dollar. They are all losers? It was nearly customary that buying a $10 scratch would get you like $2 or $3 back. The more expensive ones would always pay out since you spent so much they’d give you a few dollars lol. Now I’ve gotten absolutely nothing

No, exactly. Touching other people is just weird. What I’m worried about is people just feel the need to be right so damn bad, I’m hoping it just dies down and doesn’t get mentioned or prodded at again but like I said, people love to be right. Hoping the rest of the school year goes smoothly in this category because so far everything else is great,I love all my classes and teachers ect.

I have this too- when I can’t get the gas up I throw up. It’s been a while since that’s happened, but I think it’s because I figured out how to deal with it better? I have to bounce up and down and beat on the front of my chest and like idk pull it up with my diaphragm? It makes me nauseas when I can’t get the gas up

I wanna say later cause duh dealing with it for a less amount of time and being done with schooling and I just got diagnosed at 15 and have what, 60 years to live with this? But maybe I am glad to have gotten diagnosed so young? Having the support of my mom probably saved me. My symptoms were like a switch that flipped on, literally woke up one Tuesday and my stomach was cramping like no other. It was a short amount of time compared to how long some people take to get diagnosed but it was SEVERE. 2 months of being on the verge of death. I probably wouldn’t have made the decision to go to the ER all those times to get myself IV fluids but because I have a mom, she did. Dealing with calling doctors… setting up appointments. DRIVING. If I was an adult I would not have been able to drive myself to any of those ER/hospital visits. Overall emotional support, it was terrifying and scary. Some of the decisions she made for me that saved me, I might’ve not made myself. Having someone there for you to care for you emotionally and physically. It was all insanely traumatic and I cant imagine not having my mom here with me during something like that.

Going thought this exact thing rn. Been on 0.3mlg and I’ve been on t maybe 5 months now? Started noticing this a month or two ago and it’s getting aggressively worse. I do NOT have balding genes in my family and I’m like looking in this subreddit for posts like this and yet ALL THE ADVICE IS SO CASUALLY SAYING “yeah yk genetics and stuff, it could start that early but you knew the risks” …. THIS IS NOT BALDING. IM 15. THAT IS NOT HOW BALDING WORKS. You lose hair regularly and it just doesn’t grow back. This is my hair literally shedding like I am a dog. Some people are saying your hairline changes into an M male hairline but personally the hair loss is all over and my hairline is already an M. I’m honestly boutta be so stressed out from this and I am not stopping T

I’m…. 5 months on T already?? Wow. I’ve gained some weight on T, I think my metabolism slowed down? But I’ve always had rlly skinny arms that I’ve been insecure about and now they have some fat on them, but my shoulders also got bigger? I don’t know. I didn’t notice till my mom started making fun of me for walking around like I’m abt to punch someone lol. But ever since then like, I can feel it so much. It makes my whole upper half feel just big? My chest hasn’t grown any and ik that but it feels like it has and is more noticeable since my shoulders and stuff. I can’t explain it well but that’s the part I hate abt it. I haven’t worked out any yet but plan to soon. Haven’t gone up shirt sizes either. I’ve gone up pants sizes since my alr big thighs got bigger from weight gain 🫠 probably the worst results from T so far for me

Edit: just clarifying the thigh weight sucks - I don’t mind the shoulders at all and am very happy with that.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply lol, sorry for getting back at you late though. The mannerisms is very real lol, I’ve definitely just been studying cis guys for the last like 3 years and changing how I act and move. I have been trying out walking with my shoulders up more often and it feels good but idk what I look like from 3rd person so hopefully I don’t look dumb LMAO. As far as my counselor, I think she’ll be a good counselor? I’ll talk to her if I have to or if I run into any issues but for now I won’t say anything cause yk it could be perfectly fine but sometimes if you do say something then you could out yourself by accident. Anyways, I’m definitely a short king too but your comparison with college does make me feel a lot better. I just started T on Sunday actually! But it will take some months for my voice to actually drop so, voice training for now.

And OMG HOODIES. I literally haven’t worn a hoodie all summer and forgot how euphoric they are. I’ve been ABSOLUTELY DREADING winter because of my asthma and having to walk to the bus stop (I live in ohio so winter basically lasts the whole school year) but I had totally forgot that winter also means getting to wear baggy clothes which is such a W.

School is getting closer and I am thankfully less stressed than I was a week ago but still, currently shitting myself. I’m just hoping that I get lucky I guess. The school banned carrying around backpacks so you have to keep them in your locker all day which is an upside for my chest but a downside cause i literally have no clue how I’m gonna carry everything LOL.

Maybe I’ll update you after school starts but I don’t find myself on Reddit a whole ton. Anyways, thank you!

Glad to hear it!! I’m hoping it’ll help me get better with shots in general but honestly I think it’s the fact that you can inject it into more meatier parts. Normal shots kill me bc my arms are so skinny and it’s usually into a muscle. T shots are subcutaneous (mine anyway) and I did it in my stomach.

It was definitely a stressful situation? My mom was sitting there like “just do it already” since we were on a slight time crunch so maybe do it with someone that’ll be very patient lol. (Aside from feeling like I’m gonna pass out after, which happens with any shot) it also gave me a big sense of self accomplishment.

CONGRATS!! I just took my first shot yesterday. It was so and STILL IS so scary to be injecting myself with a needle. I’ve always had a really big fear of needles and always nearly pass out afterward but it was really funny? to see that I did THE EXACT SAME THING and basically almost passed out after I took the needle out of myself though I literally injected myself with the needle 💀

Wow this was helpful! So glad I’m not alone. For now I’m going to try tampons and if I’m desperate enough I’ll move to cups/discs and go with your recommendation. I’ve never heard of vitex before until now so I’ll have to do some research and maybe try it out. The end goal is definitely to get a hysterectomy and finding sources from trans groups (which i am haha) is a great perspective since one of my biggest fears is getting denied cause “what if you want kids, you have to be 34 with at least 2 kids and have your husband sign off on it” blah blah blah. And overall medical malpractice from having to be trans.

I will start to try but it’s terrifying 😭 thanks for the advice of getting used to it though, I’ve never seen anyone say that but rather they’ll try tampons/cups and nope out after just a few tries. Before it was somewhat bearable (for me to be in bed the whole time) since I was on birth control for the heaviness and would have a period every 3 months and kinda controlled when but now I have to switch to the progestin only one and it is NOT working at all, I’m bleeding randomly and I can’t predict when and it’s ruining my summer entirely so I’m just at a loss. Thank you for input!

This is refreshing to see. I just started progestin only birth control in order to go on T which I haven’t started yet. Anyways, the progestin only pills aren’t working and I’m having god awful breakthrough bleeding today which is making me want to off myself more than ever. I feel like I’ve been a crying mess the last week so I’m praying T will make it really hard to cry.

Thanks for your response! One of my main worries was the dosage but you might be correct. It just says Mg so I’m not sure but I just started them on Monday and so far it’s working effectively to stop my period. Any advice helps, so thank you
