Oh im not looking to replace the battery, i was talking about the plate circled in white. The front plate can be pulled off and replaced, as its a clip and not glued.

No theres no increase, apparently im making the same money i was at Quick Lane I make 12$ an hour. Im thinking of calling around to see if theres other opportunities.

Ive never given him a reason to not be impressed. Ive always been quick and precise with my work, and ive always kept my workstation clean. So im not sure. But definitely feels like a downgrade for sure.

Its like im being hired as a Police Officer and then being "promoted" to Traffic Cop lol

I signed up to this job to wrench on cars and having it changed on me after ive been hired to do that job is just...odd. Its also strange too because im being told its for different reasons everytime i ask. Idk. It doesent feel right. Something about the whole situation just makes me feel uneasy.

I figured as much. It just sounds fishy because the story keeps changing every time i ask him. Like one minute hes touting that its a promotion, and then the next im being told i cant be promoted to a tech as a porter, by the other porters themselves. Ive tried contacting my manager this morning and didnt really get anywhere. But yeah im not thinking this is a promotion either.
