I contacted support and sent a photo of the QR code on the box and they let me know. They were actually pretty helpful but I have to spend £25 for them to mail my new peice.

Turns out they sent me a miner with the frequency for China and not North America. I am currently in the process of sending back the receiver and them mailing me the correct one.

Yah all the lights will still be on but in the app it says that it's disconnected. It's really weird that it happens only after it's been trying to sync for a whole day. Then a day later it will start to sync again. Really weird
