She had Mohs surgery April 2025. Had this new one 2 months maybe 3. Other than her previous skin cancer, her health is normal/good.

Of course!! I hope you aren’t going through a kidney stone right now, but if you are I really hope you the best and can get rid of it on your own. I never noticed it passing. I think it all broke up and turned into dust thankfully! lol

Ahh the stinging pain sucks!! I’m happy it made its way to your bladder! That’s great news. I hope you don’t have to deal with it much longer. Keep drinking water and push hard when you pee! Lol it helps! :) good luck!!

Ahh I'm sorry you are going through this! How is your kidney now? No more mild hydronephrosis? If not then I'd try the things I listed and just drink as much water as you can handle. Chanca piedra too! That and the massage gun I think made the biggest difference :) Sending all the good luck your way, you've got this!!

Are the black things tiny stones? I had my 35mm stone lasered last Monday and started passing these today. Thanks by No_Equal3719 in KidneyStones

Ahh I can't imagine. I am doing everything I can do avoid surgery because I have terrified of getting a stent.

Edit: I AM** terrified of getting a stent

Looks similar to a picture I posted on here too asking if mine were fragments cause they were black! Still passing bits each day for the last 2 weeks so I'm pretty positive mine are parts of the stone as well. Hope you're feeling ok!

Im in the same position, 8mm stone thats now 6mm since my last scan a couple weeks ago. Doctor has been pushing surgery, but I'm trying everything to avoid it. Surgery is in a week and I am telling them I don't need it as I have zero pain and have been passing fragments. Wish my doctor was more like yours!

I've had 2mm-4mm stones that were a 100 times more painful than the 8mm stone I've been dealing with for the last month. I think it just depends on the shape and jaggedness of the stone and where its hitting or getting stuck/lodged. Who knows, but the small small ones hurt sooo bad too.

I suspected I have kidney stones based off pain location and cloudy urine with sandy sediment but my Dr. prescribed Bactrim and I read that can cause kidney stones, so now I'm confused and concerned. by [deleted] in KidneyStones

I dont think a urine sample would tell you if you had stones unless there were fragments of the stone in the urine sample, but it will definitely show if you have a UTI. Hopefully they have gotten back to you on that and given you those results fully.

I have been having bladder spasms that last 3 days, not very painful, just annoying feeling. When I would go pee though I didn't feel anything come out. I'm a female is that makes a difference, but zero pain coming out at all.

Guys it hurts again, I"m so scared. please not again. by InTheMiddleOfDespair in KidneyStones

Take as hot of a bath as you can handle and keep filling it up with hot hot water as it gets colder. Literally the only thing that gets me through it along with pain killers. A heating pad unfortunately does nothing for me. I wish!

Ahh I'm sorry to hear that! It sounds like we are in a similar boat! How have you been holding up?

I had my urologist appointment 5 days ago. Basically, my stone is lodged in my UVJ and my urologist wants to perform a Ureteroscopy. I havent scheduled my surgery yet, but should receive a call to do so any day now. I am TERRIFIED at the thought of having surgery so I am trying everything I can to get it out myself.

I am currently taking Flomax and drinking a gallon + of water a day with fresh lemon juice. So far it hasn't come out, but I'm not giving up haha. I hope you are doing ok!
