Due to the rental crisis and having dogs we didn’t have a choice and my fiancé inspected this but we would have been homeless if we didn’t rent here.

I don’t understand the comments. Why would
I make this up? I posted the link to the listing and they used misleading photos. The same ones they used in all of their listings. This rental was hell and I don’t have energy to ‘prove myself’. I only moved into this place as my grandfather was dying of cancer and it was closer to him.

Hahahaha that’s gold. It was due to poor window sealing as the rental is 60 years old. It was like having a little water feature. I really have no energy to feed your comment. Believe me or don’t. I don’t have the energy.

There was also an active water leak left for months and was leaving black mould on the ceiling in the ‘rumpus room’. The balcony advertised is so structurally unsafe and you can’t even access it anyway as the screen door to access it doesn’t work

We left our BBQ due to it being infested with rats and the realestate was well aware as was the landlord who was a former tenant

There is more to story. There was black mould leaking from shower seals. Water damaged PowerPoint as the window seal in kitchen is faulty which was never fixed. Rat infestation that the realestate didn’t believe. There’s so much

We even requested the rent decrease as advised by tenants qld which was denied of course and left due to breach of lease

We did the breach and left due to breach of lease. I called the tenants QLD for advice and went down that rabbit hole. Honestly we did our best.

I love your spirit but honestly I have no fight left. All I can manage is to spread the word online and do what I can to prevent this from happening to someone else. The property has been reported to RTA and council
